We are pleased to announce that NBC News has featured a Practice from Imagination First in the Opinion section of their new Web site, Education Nation. For those unfamiliar with the book, co-written by Lincoln Center Institute's Executive Director Scott Noppe-Brandon and author Eric Liu, it highlights the role of imagination in education and society, and is part of Lincoln Center Institute's push to put imagination, creativity, and innovation blended with standards and accountability back in schools. The Practice was selected as part of NBC's initiative to bring a thoughtful conversation about education to its audience. Read an excerpt from the Practice, which begins, "There is nothing like knowing it all to kill the imagination..." and start this dialogue with your friends and co-workers today.
